BIODIESEL PRODUCTION

SUPPORT FOR FAMILY FARMING

More than 1.000 families are part of the Family Farming project, which fosters and provides technical assistance to small and settled producers, generating income, quality of life, and social inclusion.

SPC PRODUCTION

Caramuru produces SPC (Soy Protein Concentrate), which is environmentally recognized as the best meal of vegetable origin, replacing fish meal in aquaculture. A renewable source that reduces fish catching for feed formulation.

CO-GENERATION OF ELECTRICITY

By using renewable fuel, Caramuru simultaneously produces steam and electricity, making the industry self-sufficient and providing for energy export. Co-generation reduces CO2emissions, has fewer environmental impact/risk, and less dependence on energy generated by hydroelectric power plants.

SOYBEAN ETHANOL PRODUCTION

With technology to generate ethanol from soy molasses, XNUMX% of the potential of soybean is used with high energy efficiency, minimizing environmental impacts.

SUSTENTAR PROGRAM

Sustentar supports and guides suppliers in the production of raw materials to ensure sustainable products with traceability that meet global demands. It integrates rural producers in the production process and positively impacts the community by generating income and fostering trade.

TRACEABILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE ORIGINATION OF RAW MATERIALS

The raw materials used by Caramuru come from suppliers that comply with social-environmental criteria, especially the Brazilian environmental law, featuring the Amazon and Cerrado. Traceability ensures the origin of raw materials, allowing for the fight against slave-like labor and the respect for indigenous peoples.

WASTE GENERATION MANAGEMENT

Caramuru properly disposes of solid waste by continuously monitoring atmospheric emissions and treating liquid effluents in 100% of the industrial processes. This ensures the preservation of natural resources and the control of undesirable particulates, and allows for the reuse of water.
